Objectives

  • Provide a venue and a platform for partners to connect with each other- to learn, share, and develop best practices on teaching & learning, sustainability, and leadership appropriate for their local context
  • Create and promote programs that support children, teachers, families, schools, businesses, and the rest of Sagada
  • Help develop, inspire, and empower education leaders, teachers, children, youth, parents, families, schools, and businesses to TAKE ACTION to create a just, equitable, and sustainable society
  • Understand sustainability, develop empathy, and create meaningful relationships with the other participants and the environment
  • Build partnerships between and among education leaders, teachers, children, youth, tour guides, schools, higher education institutions, civil society, businesses, the government, and communities through this collaborative project on innovative teaching and learning, effective parenting, sustainability, and leadership
  • Provide capacity-building assistance to partners to become change agents and leaders in their own locality
  • Provide opportunities to reconnect with, learn, and appreciate more Sagada culture and traditions.
  • Showcase students’ communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
